I've been a collector of beautiful things since I can remember, collecting antiques is a passion shared by us, the casual collector and the serious dealer. The enthusiasm with which people seek out these historic treasures remains undiminished. The items coveted and the reasons seeking them out vary wildly. For many enthusiasts, it is difficult to say precisely what attracts them to an antique. In my case it's the historical significance, and the simple beauty of the piece.
